Virolai school

A stage for discovery

In this stage, fundamental hàbits, knowledge, and skills are consolidated. More than ever, the school becomes a place of coexistence and culture. Through methodologies that promote cooperative work and reflection, both individually and in groups, students are motivated by educational and teaching proposals that meet their interests and needs.

How it is structure:

This stage is divided into three cycles, each consists of two years:

  • Initial cycle, compromising the first and second years, for students aged 6 to 8.
  • Middle cycle, compromising the third and fourth years, for students aged 8 to 10.
  • Upper cycle, compromising the fifth and sixth years, for students aged 10 to 12.

Coordination with early childhood education and compulsory secondary education in necessary to ensure a smooth transition for students between ages.
